Life with astigmatism can result in some pretty frustrating situations – make up mishaps, ghostly apparitions, and streaky lights at nighttime that can make getting around a real pain.

An Aussie with astigmatism explain how some of their real-life experiences led to some awkward incidents, and their moments of revelation when they realised life doesn’t have to be so blurry.

Speak to your optometrist for an eye health check if you think you may have astigmatism.

Neha

“I realised that outlines on objects and words weren’t a usual thing”

After years of walking around seeing pale, ghostly apparitions and believing she might have had a supernatural ability to see ghosts, Neha was finally diagnosed with astigmatism. It turned out her faithful spirit animal, Benny, the golden retriever, was still very much alive.

Neha had no clue she was suffering from double vision caused by astigmatism. Fortunately, her spooky visions are now a thing of the past.
